Aug 3, 2026 Job Description 2026-2027 Intermediate Bilingual Teacher @ Alief ISD Various Locations Internal employees: Set to your account to internal before applying at https://aisd.schoolspring.com/internaljobsettings Plan and teach a program of study in accordance with the philosophy and curriculum of AISD. Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning. Establish and communicate clear objectives. Employ appropriate instructional methods and materials. Continually assess students' accomplishments. Counsel with colleagues, students and/or parents on a regular basis. Develop reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedures. Assist in implementing policies and rules. Maintain professional competence through in-service education. Supervise students in out-of-classroom activities.
Education Level Yrs:
Bachelor Degree in any field License or Certification Appropriate valid Texas Teacher Certification for position or be enrolled in an alternative certification program and have passing, appropriate for position, TExES content scores. Probationary contract - 187 days plus 4 days of Alief U professional development for a teacher new to the district 2026-2027 New Salary Schedule Minimum teacher starting salary is $67,100 Salary is based on 187 days. If working less than 187 days, the salary will be less.
