Description :
The Curriculum and Instruction Department (CUIN) in the College of Education at the University of Houston offers a broad range of undergraduate and graduate-level courses in education across multiple content areas, including teaching and teacher education, and occasionally has openings for part-time Adjuncts. Interested and qualified candidates with experience in teaching and teacher education are invited to apply to be considered for these temporary, part-time positions. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to excellence. The minimum qualification of the successful candidate is a M.Ed. degree in a closely related field. A doctorate in a related field and relevant teaching experience are preferred. Adjunct appointments are made on a semester basis. Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
