EETC - Eastside Education and Training Center Requisition #: req13855 Outside working hours if other than M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Varies by class Job Summary and Description Position responsible for teaching Continuing Education classes. Continuing Education Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity contingent upon the needs of the department. Classes are offered during daytime, evenings, and weekends as well as some College holidays. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year. Qualifications Minimum Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Experience as a journey or technician level in their area of expertise OR a minimum of three years of experience as a certified teacher in a vocational/technical construction or maintenance-related training program.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Three years teaching experience. Ability to successfully complete the NCCER's Instructor Certification Training Program (CORE) within 60 days of hire. OSHA qualified (per OSHA standards) to teach OSHA 10 or 30 General Industry or construction approved courses. EEO Statement Apply Now Share Save Job
