Full Job Description Job Description:
Who We Are Seattle Pacific University is a Christian university fully committed to engaging the culture and changing the world by graduating people of competence and character, becoming people of wisdom, and modeling grace-filled community. The College of Humanities, Education and the Arts seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach a graduate level education course, EDAD 7584 in fall quarter 2026. This course will increase one's understanding of resources and how they affect the work or educational leaders. Linkages between various stakeholders and competing interests will be explored. Emphasis will be on the mission of a learning organization as it relates to resource management decisions. The course will focus on preparing educators for school district leadership roles. Adjunct educators are hired on a contractual, part-time basis, for specified quarters throughout an academic year. Duties include developing syllabi and assignments, teaching classes and assessing student performance.
Requirements:
Doctoral degree in Education Administration, or Terminal degree in related field, or excellent instructional skills Terminal degree in another field with heavy emphasis on writing A personal commitment to Christian faith, enthusiasm about supporting SPU's mission , alignment with the University's Statement of Faith , and willingness to accept the lifestyle standards of the Christian community.
