$32-$45/hour Job Description Educational interpreters are needed to provide interpreting services for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing within Allegany County Public Schools. Services are provided throughout the student school day across elementary, middle, and high school settings. Assignments may vary depending on student needs and school placement. Responsibilities Provide interpreting services for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students Support communication access throughout the school day Maintain professionalism in educational settings Follow federal and state educational guidelines Work collaboratively with school personnel Qualifications Experience interpreting for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing students preferred Educational interpreting experience preferred National certification preferred Continuing education related to children with disabilities preferred Must pass background screening requirements Work Locations Services may be provided across: Elementary schools Middle schools High schools Career and Technical Education settings Compensation Hourly rate based on qualifications and experience

Pay:
