Job Description
Geminus Corporation partners with community-based health care providers, social service organizations and early childhood education programs to help increase access to high-quality social health care for children and families across Northern Indiana. Geminus Corporation is a member of the Regional Care Group.
Position Purpose:
The Education/Disabilities Director is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing an educational program from ages 0 to 5. The Education/Disabilities Director is responsible for the overall operation of the educational services, which include developmental screenings, curriculum implementation, child assessment collection and CLASS assessment for the measurement of intentional instruction and teacher-child interactions. The Education/Disabilities Director must ensure all education services delivered are compliant with all relevant external and internal standards, such as state and federal law, Head Start Performance Standards, State of Indiana Child Care Licensing Standards, NAEYC Accreditation criteria and all applicable Geminus and Geminus Head Start policies and proceduresMinimum Hiring Requirements:
Academic:
Master's degree in early childhood education or related field, including background in infant/toddler development required.Experience:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in Head Start/Early Head Start or experience with children ranging from 0 to 5; Three years management/ supervisory/administration required. Additional experience in Head Start, social services or other preschool programs, bilingual a plus.Pay Range:
