The role involves performing a full range of electroencephalographic studies in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including participation in a shared on-call rotation to support 24/7 hospital operations. Key Responsibilities Perform routine, stat, and continuous EEG studies across all patient age groups Set up, calibrate, and maintain EEG equipment per established protocols Monitor, record, and document brain wave activity with accuracy and attention to detail Identify and document abnormal EEG patterns and clinical events Prepare patients for procedures and clearly explain testing processes Collaborate with neurologists and multidisciplinary care teams to support diagnosis and treatment Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR Support ambulatory EEG services (clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM•5:00 PM) Participate in on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays as scheduled Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards Maintain equipment cleanliness and report technical issues promptly Qualifications Minimum 2 years of EEG experience required Registered EEG Technologist (REEGT) certification required Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Strong understanding of neurodiagnostic procedures and EEG fundamentals Experience with inpatient and ambulatory EEG monitoring preferred Ability to work independently and manage on-call responsibilities Excellent patient care, communication, and critical thinking skills Familiarity with Epic or similar EMR systems preferred Willingness to participate in rotating call schedule (including 1 weekend/month) Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (travel requirement) For more details contact at hdavda@navitashealth.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
