PM Summary:
Responsible for fixing minor issues with gaming machines, assisting with jackpots, and helping guests. Performs duties in a guest service friendly, efficient and profitable manner that promotes superior team member, guest and vendor relations.
Essential Functions:
Actively monitors casino floor for maintenance/call lights on gaming machines to determine the next steps that are required to get the machine online and operating for guests. Performs paper fills as needed, including sports wagering kiosks. Corrects minor technical problems with machines. Conducts Drop process on casino machines. Accurately explains winning combinations (pay tables) to the guests and verifies/processes jackpots. Provides accurate directions in operating sports wagering kiosks. Immediately reports any suspicious behavior by either guests or team members to a supervisor. Assists newly trained team members. Promotes casino promotions/activities/events and will assist marketing efforts as needed. Maintain cleanliness of work stations which includes, but is not limited to, gaming machines, the MT podium, EGD/Sports Wagering office, etc. Complies with all applicable laws, policies, procedures, and regulations. Provides a high standard of professionalism and guest service. Must maintain confidentiality. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Minimum Qualifications): Must be 18 years old or older. High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Six (6) months of guest service experience required. Ability to take initiative and be proactive in the duties of the position. Ability to understand, speak, communicate and read the English language. Must successfully complete Title 31, Banking Secrecy Act training upon hire and annually. Will be required to obtain and maintain a Class 12 or 13 Mixology (MAST) permit, whichever is applicable (exception for Lake Chelan Casino). Must successfully pass TIPS training as required. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to analyze data from multiple information ports by comparing and contrasting data to draw a conclusion or to identify trends. Ability to communicate professionally in written, verbal, and nonverbal format while portraying a friendly tone, word choice, and body language. Ability to work various shifts including evenings, holidays, weekends, and overtime. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Tribal Gaming License. Physical Demands /
Work Environment:
Manual and finger dexterity as required to perform daily job duties. Ability to frequently walk and/or stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Ability to frequently bend, squat and/or reach. Sufficient visual acuity to write, recognize printed materials, computer screen, and notice nonverbal behavior. Speech and hearing ability to project voice to small and large audiences, carry on radio/telephone conversations, hear and grasp verbal communications and equipment prompts. Frequently works near or around electricity. Occasionally works near or around moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to vibration. Frequently exposed to a high level of noise in the work environment. Frequently exposed to tobacco smoke, fumes or airborne particles. Frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. These requirements need to be met to represent knowledge, skill and ability to perform job functions.
