Job Description

Job Summary Responsible for ensuring employee compliance with safety protocols, inspecting for ESD and contraband, monitoring warehouse activities, and enforcing OSHA standards. Duties include scanning items and personnel, identifying hazards, reporting non-compliance, supporting safety improvements, and maintaining clear communication. Duties Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) standards. Develop, implement, and maintain safety training programs for employees, focusing on first aid, CPR, and occupational health practices. Prepare detailed reports on safety incidents, findings from inspections, and recommendations for improvements. Collaborate with management to ensure adherence to workers' compensation laws and environmental regulations set by the EPA. Facilitate root cause analysis for incidents to prevent future occurrences and improve overall safety performance. Fabricate safety equipment or modifications as necessary to enhance workplace safety. Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes related to health and safety. Experience Proven experience in a safety technician role or similar position is preferred. Familiarity with report writing techniques and documentation related to safety compliance. Knowledge of workers' compensation law, EHS regulations, and EPA guidelines is essential. Strong skills in training development, particularly in creating engaging instructional materials for various audiences.
