Job Description:
Summary:
Cayuga Community College seeks a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in Electrical and Electronics Technologies. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching, a strong background in electrical and electronics technologies, and a commitment to student success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and training of students of a variety of ages and backgrounds while meeting vital workforce needs.
Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality courses in electrical and electronics technologies, ensuring alignment with program goals and industry standards.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive classroom and laboratory sessions to enhance students' theoretical and practical understanding of electrical systems and technologies.
  • Provide mentorship and academic support to students, promoting their success in the program.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in electrical technology, integrating relevant updates into the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the curriculum, assessment methods, and instructional materials.
  • Participate in meetings and activities with college colleagues and industry partners.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, retention and overall success of our students.
Requirements:
Master's degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or closely related field. Instructor or Classroom experience preferred.
Additional Information:
The 2026-27 Instructor rank salary is $71,481. Cayuga offers excellent benefits and retirement options, including December break time off and Spring break time off.
