  • Automation Tests, Converter, Electrical Electronics, Inverter, Lab Tech Shift
  • 8 AM to 4:30 PM Required Education Bachelor s degree in engineering (required) 8-10 years of experience required (BS + 8 years, or MS + 4 years) Preferred Education Open to 2-year degree with 10+ years of experience Internships accepted as job experience Technical Skills (Required) Hands-on experience with converter/inverter prototyping, test benches, and debugging Experience with standards and compliance (UL, IEC, ISO) for power electronics systems Strong understanding of DC-DC converters, AC-DC inverters, magnetics, and control algorithms Proficiency in using lab instruments and data acquisition tools Additional Technical Skills (Desired) Experience with automated test systems Understanding of EMI/EMC testing, thermal design, and environmental validation Knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller-based converter control Responsibilities Supervise the design, development, and testing of the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting Review and approve the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models Discuss estimates for time and cost to complete projects with clients Supervise the simulation and testing of machine/structure/system operation and monitor product quality Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards Work with product support team to help troubleshoot field issues Work with electrician for charger rework Perform End of Line test on chargers Update design and component selection as needed (compliance, functions, etc.
) Work with control team on charger field issue resolution Review telematics data of charger fleet Draft test plan on additional feature and new charger validation Make design changes as needed and oversee drawing releases Soft Skills (Required) Strong communication skills Problem-solving & analytical thinking Collaboration & teamwork Attention to detail Adaptability Soft Skills (Desired) Leadership & mentoring Conflict resolution Project management awareness Customer-focused mindset Continuous learning Interview
