Electrical Designer - Revit

We are seeking an Electrical Designer with strong Revit experience to support building electrical design and drafting for industrial and commercial facility projects. This role will work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to develop electrical installation drawings and support project deliverables from concept through construction documentation. Responsibilities Develop electrical design drawings and models using Revit , AutoCAD , or MicroStation . Prepare electrical layouts for power distribution, lighting systems, and equipment installations . Perform calculations related to lighting levels, voltage drop, and electrical load distribution . Size conductors, conduits, and overcurrent protection devices for electrical systems. Design and route conduit systems and cable tray layouts . Calculate conduit and cable tray fill in accordance with applicable standards. Assist with motor control center (MCC) loading calculations and power distribution planning. Interpret vendor equipment drawings and specifications to create installation documentation. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure accurate integration of electrical systems. Support project schedules and assist in estimating task completion timelines. Qualifications Education Associate Degree in Engineering Technology , Electrical Technology , Computer-Aided Drafting , or related field. Experience Minimum 4 years of electrical design or drafting experience in industrial, commercial, or facility environments. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) . Experience producing electrical installation drawings and design documentation.

Proficiency with:

Revit (primary requirement) AutoCAD (2D) MicroStation Familiarity with 3D AutoCAD is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook . Additional Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary and remote engineering teams. Understanding of engineering workflows and cross-discipline coordination. Ability to work under general supervision while supporting project deadlines.
