Severn, MD About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer/ Mixed Signal Digital Design Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and verification of high-speed digital printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies. These systems will operate across RF frequency ranges including P-Band (225-390 MHz), S-Band (~2.4 GHz), and other communication bands used in advanced aerospace and satellite applications such as orbital payloads and CubeSats. This role requires deep technical expertise in high-speed digital and mixed-signal design, along with a strong focus on design for manufacturability and performance optimization. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end design and development of high-speed mixed-signal PCB systems Perform circuit design, simulation, analysis, and validation for RF and digital architectures Develop and review schematics, layouts, and design documentation Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC standards) and best design practices Optimize signal integrity, power integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) Use Altium Designer (or equivalent eCAD tools) for schematic capture and PCB layout Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and manufacturing Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence and design best practices Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field 6+ years of experience in mixed-signal and high-speed digital circuit design Proven experience reading and developing engineering schematics Strong foundation in core engineering design principles Preferred Qualifications Experience with RF systems and communication frequency bands (P-Band, S-Band, etc.) Advanced knowledge of IPC PCB design standards Expertise in Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design tools Familiarity with aerospace, satellite, or high-reliability electronic systems Experience mentoring or leading technical teams Key Skills Circuit Design High-Speed Digital Design Mixed-Signal Systems Engineering Design Principles Schematic Development and Review PCB Design and Layout By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
