The host company is a Silicon Valley-based aerospace and robotics company that designs and manufactures autonomous, electric aircraft. The company is focused on making aviation safer, cleaner, and more efficient using automation and zero-emission technology.
Position Description:
Assist with schematic capture and PCB layout for embedded and power electronics systems Support component selection and BOM creation under engineer supervision Help assemble, bring up, and test PCBs in the lab Run bench tests, collect data, and help analyze results Support debugging of electrical and embedded systems issues Assist with documentation including test procedures, results, and design notes
Applicant Qualifications:
To apply for the Internship program, applicants must be electrical engineering undergraduate/graduate students OR a be recent graduates who begin program within 12 months of the graduation date To apply for the Trainee program, applicants must have either a degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary academic institution and at least 1 year of prior related work experience in the electrical engineering field acquired outside the United States OR 5+ years of experience in this field. Advanced English is required Coursework/experience in: embedded systems, power electronics, motor control, control systems, basic lab equipment (oscilloscope, power supply, multimeter), C or C++, schematic capture/PCB layout tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, etc.), motor control concepts (FOC, PWM, inverters) How to
