Our work includes heavy industrial, water and wastewater, healthcare, K-12 schools, aerospace, and federal projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive estimates, identifying risk, and helping position the company to win the right projects at the right margins. What You Will Do

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial, industrial, institutional, and public projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and build estimates using Accubid or similar software.
• Solicit and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, clarifications, and value engineering opportunities.
• Develop labor strategies, material budgets, and bid summaries for management review.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, job walks, and internal bid reviews as needed.
• Support project turnover to operations after award. What We Are Looking For
• Experience estimating electrical construction work in commercial, industrial, or institutional markets.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and construction documents.
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications, schedules, and bid instructions.
• Working knowledge of labor units, material pricing, subcontractor scope, and project risk.
• Experience with Accubid, Bluebeam, Excel, and related estimating tools.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines without sacrificing accuracy. Preferred Qualifications
• Five or more years of electrical estimating experience.
• Field experience in electrical construction.
• Experience with design-build, conceptual budgeting, and negotiated work.
• Exposure to heavy industrial, water and wastewater, healthcare, K-12, aerospace, or federal projects. Why Join our Organization
