We are looking for a full-time, hourly Electrician Helper to join our team and report to the Belleview location. Qualified candidates will have a proven track record of attendance, hard work, initiative, ambition, compassion, and empathy.

Pay Rate:

$18-$22 per hour based on experience

Job Schedule:

Typical schedule is M-F, 8:00am - 5:00pm; with opportunities for overtime

Job Summary:

In this entry-level role, you will work directly alongside experienced electricians. You will assist with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential environments. This is an excellent steppingstone for an individual looking to build a long-term career in the electrical trade.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Support :

Assist with the setup, organization, and breakdown of job sites, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Material Handling :

Gather, carry, and supply necessary tools, equipment, and materials to lead electricians.

Conduit Work :

Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit under direct supervision using standard trade hand tools.

Wire Pulling :

Assist in running, pulling, and organizing electrical wiring through conduits and cable trays.

Component Installation :

Help install basic electrical components, including light fixtures, switches, outlets, and electrical boxes.

TrenchingPrep :

Perform basic labor tasks such as hand-digging trenches for underground utilities when required.

Safety Adherence :

Strictly follow all OSHA safety protocols, building codes, and company safety guidelines.

Job RequirementsQualifications:

Education :

High school diploma or GED certificate preferred but not mandatory.

Experience :

1-2 years of experience in construction or a related trade. Prior electrical exposure is a strong plus.

Technical Skills :

Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, drills, wire strippers).

Physical Stamina :

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods in varying weather conditions.

Color Vision :

Ability to properly distinguish between color-coded wires.

Logistics :

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Soft Skills :

Strong communication, ability to follow complex verbal instructions, and a proactive attitude. Why work for us?
