The Opportunity:
You will serve as the primary technical lead for critical healthcare infrastructure, managing the specialized service needs of up to five regional hospitals. This role empowers you to take ownership of high-stakes medical environments where your expertise ensures the continuous operation of life-saving systems. How You Will Make an
Impact:
Coordinate and execute specialized electrical service projects across five regional hospital systems. Manage rapid-turnaround installations and repairs ranging from single-day tasks to multi-day projects. Direct field activities in strict accordance with healthcare-specific safety protocols and infection control standards. Troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems to prevent downtime in critical medical environments. Maintain accurate documentation of service reports and compliance logs to ensure total project transparency. Mentor junior technicians on the unique technical requirements and professional standards of medical facility work.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience specifically within a medical or healthcare electrical environment. Active Utah Journeyman Electrician license in good standing. Proven ability to manage multiple service sites and high-priority work orders with minimal oversight. Proficiency in reading and interpreting specialized medical equipment schedules and hospital blueprints. Strong organizational skills necessary for managing rapid-response logistics and team dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
Advanced knowledge of control systems and specialized healthcare installations, including life-safety systems. Demonstrated experience in mentorship or training junior team members within a formal apprenticeship environment. Familiarity with regional hospital facilities and their specific electrical infrastructure requirements.
