The Electrical Technician is responsible for all maintenance activities related to assigned medium voltage electrical equipment for the crews. Responsible for electrical equipment safety and cleanliness. Must communicate with Electronics Manager daily with crew electrical needs, field issues/concerns and scheduling. The Electrical Technician is responsible for preforming electrical testing, functional test, and start-up of equipment. This would include switchgears, motor contactors, disconnect switches, circuit breakers, panel boards, transformer, surge protection devices, cables, and protective relays. The Electrical Technician is required to provide clear communication to Electronics Manager regarding changes to maintenance plans and equipment readiness. The Electrical Technician is to review and perform QC on completed units, ensure work order compliance, and verify that a unit has no open work orders before being returned to service. Communicates any operational changes or issues to Electrical Manager. The Electrical Technician must ensure the full implementation, adoption, and effectiveness of the maintenance plan and drive the maintenance groups to their associated metrics of on time delivery, high quality, and budgeted cost.Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience maintaining and on-time delivery of an equipment maintenance schedule. Experience in managing skill levels to meet on-time delivery schedules. Preferred qualifications are, Electrical Technology Diploma, Journeyman Electrician, NCCER certification, or a minimum of 2 years' experience working with an Electric Frac fleet. Electrical Contractor licenses are an additional plus. Able to read and comprehend written materials, drawings, and instructions. Familiar with the Arc Flash and Shock Hazards to work safely in medium voltage. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Indicators & Attributes forSuccess:

Performs work tasks in a safe manner. Performs emergency troubleshooting of power distribution systems. Provides expert advice, training, and technical assistance to support staff. Performs mechanical maintenance, overhaul and reassembly of medium voltage breakers. Perform medium voltage switchgear testing. Perform cable and power transformer testing. Maintains and meets pre-planned maintenance schedules that have been set. Communicates production needs and timelines to team. Updates District Electronics Manager on changes to maintenance schedule as work is completed ahead or behind objectives. Reviews maintenance related NPT and communicates solution with both maintenance and operational teams. Performs QC and verification of on-time completed units. Understands equipment upgrades or project needs and organizes team to complete projects as assigned by the District Electronics Manager. Identifies efficiency improvement opportunities and facilitates improvement plans. Implements and complies with maintenance programs through maintenance software and equipment analytics. Improves the reliability and efficiency of the maintenance processes. Works with additional internal and external resources as provided by the District Electronics Manager to ensure production goals are met. Assists with the implementation of new products and equipment at the district level.Other Duties:
