Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Your expertise will ensure electrical safety, compliance with codes, and the seamless operation of electrical infrastructure. Duties Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and electrical codes such as the NEC (National Electrical Code). Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform precise electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects. Test electrical systems using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring proper installation and safety protocols are followed. Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of electrical components. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference. Skills Extensive experience with industrial and commercial electrician tasks including wiring, circuit installation, and system troubleshooting. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for accurate project execution. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems. Familiarity with NEC standards governing electrical safety and installation practices. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools like drills and saws. Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on safety protocols. Ability to work with low voltage and high voltage systems safely and effectively. Strong handyman skills including basic frame carpentry and general maintenance tasks. Experience with schematic reading for troubleshooting complex electrical issues. Knowledge of Ohmmeters for testing electrical resistance in circuits.
