Driver's License Climbing Blueprint reading Wiring and circuitry work Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description New York City Electrician•Hours and locations are based on job location sites NON-Union Only Hours 8:00am•3:30pm Occasional night or off-hours work may be required depending on project scope and scheduling timelines. Overview We are looking for a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our team. This role involves hands-on work with electrical systems in both construction and industrial settings. Candidates are expected to work with other electricians and apprentices to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical components across a variety of projects. Applicants should posses a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a solid foundation in electrical knowledge and experience. Electrical helpers are welcomed to apply, however rate and hours will change to meet position. Responsibilities Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities Use hand tools and power tools to perform wiring, conduit bending, and other electrical tasks Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams including NEC codes and low/high voltage schematics ( not required but USEFUL ) Operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues Follow safety protocols related to low voltage and high voltage systems Support the setup of electrical panels and control systems Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications

Requirements:

OSHA 30 certification required Basic knowledge of wiring methods and circuitry Proficient in conduit bending and installation (3/4" to 4") Understanding of basic motor controls Valid driver's license required Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and working in a variety of conditions Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and industry practices Must be able to work as a W-2 employee ( no independent contractors ) Ability to travel to and report to various job sites independently , based on project needs Prior electrical work experience is required
