Electronic Security Design Engineer - Mid Level

Job Description We are looking for two Design Engineers to join our Electronic Security team immediately. This person is able to sit remotely, with the potential to travel x1 per quarter. This position does require the ability to obtain a US Government Clearance.

Role:

Physical security estimator and designer, working in a collaborative team environment supporting U.S. Government integrated physical security installations. As a member of the estimation and design team the primary responsibilities include:

•  Performing take-offs and building proposals for RFPs sent out by the customer (Project values of $50,000 to $5M+)
•  Creating design packages for awarded projects
•  Function as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders
•  Providing guidance during the delivery phase of assigned awarded projects
•  Creating change order proposals for assigned projects Other responsibilities include:
•  Helping maintain proposal documentation
•  Working with the PMO team to develop solutions for problematic installations
•  Working with vendors to keep product lists and pricing current
•  Maintaining a positive work environment

•  5 to 10 years installation experience of large-scale integrated security systems including Access control systems, CCTV and Intrusion Systems (All phases of installation from start to customer handoff)
•  Prior experience performing bid take-offs and/or integrated security system design
•  Previous project management experience
•  Previous experience using Bluebeam Revu
•  Previous experience using AutoCAD
•  Previous experience with Hirsch access control equipment
•  Previous experience with Bosch CCTV equipment
•  Previous experience with Bosch/Radionics Intrusion equipment
•  Previous experience with Commend intercom equipment
•  Previous experience with Cisco networking equipment
