Job Summary We are seeking a skilled, reliable Security Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, servicing, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic security systems. The ideal candidate must have strong technical aptitude, a customer-service mindset, and thrives in both team settings as well as when working independently.

Key Responsibilities Installation & Services:

Install, program, test, and repair access control systems, CCTV surveillance cameras, IP video systems, and intrusion alarm systems.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and repair malfunctioning equipment or software, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.

Documentation:

Complete accurate service reports, inventory checklists, and project documentation in a timely manner.

Customer Interaction:

Act as the primary technical contact, providing exceptional service and training to clients on system operations.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all OSHA safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies.

Qualifications Experience:

2-5+ years of field experience in security installation or low-voltage systems. Experience with Hanwha, Honeywell, Axis, Verkada, or DMP is a plus.

Licensing:

Valid Virginia DCJS Registration is highly preferred; ability to obtain licensing is required.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with IP networking, wire pulling, conduit installation, and hand/power tools.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Education:
