Directs and assists in repair, maintenance, and install of electrical/electronic systems and equipment such as motors, wiring, switches, transformers, and alarm systems on any shift as required.
Schedule:
Required to work every other weekend and required to be on call every other week.
Pay rate:
$40.56/hour What you'll be doing. Assign necessary inspection to subordinate personnel to ensure normal plant equipment operation. Assist electrical supervisor in repair and maintenance programs and the training of the electrical personnel in their job functions. Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent. Implement McCain Competitive Edge and Lean Manufacturing practices relative to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People (SQCDP). Lead electrical personnel in the absence of the supervisor. Locate and determine electrical malfunctions using electrical test instruments and PLC computer software. Must be willing to break all shifts as needed. Must be willing to work weekends as needed. On-Call Requirement - Must perform on-call duties on a rotating basis to include nights. On-site Requirement - Must perform duties onsite. Except work required to be done at one of McCain's satellite locations. Operate powered industrial lifts in accordance with company policy. Train and be prepared to use all required PPE. Repair, Maintain, and Install electrical/electronic systems and equipment. Other Duties may be assigned What you'll need to be successful. To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of PLC computer software. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and Two year degree in industrial controls/instrumentation or electrical construction and maintenance or a degree in the electrical field that the company deems equivalent State of Maine Master Electrician License or Journeyman License.
