Up to $25 hour Responsibilities Assemble aerospace power supply units, DC-DC converters, inverters, and electronic modules in accordance with engineering documentation, drawings, and schematics. Install and integrate transformers, inductors, MOSFETs, EMI filters, control boards, and related components into power supply assemblies. Perform high-reliability soldering and cable harnessing to meet aerospace and military quality standards. Test AC-DC and DC-DC power conversion systems, including 28V aircraft power systems and 270V HVDC systems, using appropriate electronic test equipment. Conduct environmental and burn-in testing, including thermal and vibration tests, to validate product performance and reliability. Use oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), power analyzers, load banks, and other electronic test equipment to identify failures in switching power circuits. Diagnose and repair electronic assemblies down to the component level, including conformal-coated assemblies, to restore full functionality. Support qualification, production, and sustainment activities by executing test plans and providing feedback on assembly and test processes. Follow aerospace, FAA, AS9100, and military quality standards in all assembly, testing, and documentation activities. Maintain accurate and complete test records, configuration documentation, and build history in a compliance-driven environment. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and qualification teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance. Apply high-voltage safety procedures and best practices when working with high-voltage power systems and test setups. standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Budd Lake, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
