BR Description:
The Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking an Electronics Engineer to design and maintain Electrical Ground Test Equipment throughout the product life cycle.Location:
This position does not support teleworking ; you will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Cape Canaveral FL and be expected to work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.- Please note we will not provide relocation services for this position.
- A Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- Although no clearance is required to start, a Secret clearance must be obtained and maintained; therefore, U.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
- Experience with high level circuit design and analysis.
- Proficiency with basic test equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and electronic loads.
- Willing and able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of design, test, integration, and deployment of Electronics Equipment.
- Strong presentation and written communication skills.
- Experience on space and/or missile defense missions.
- Testing avionics, electronic components, or electrical systems using purpose designed test equipment.
- Design, test, programming, and integration/deployment of automated test equipment (ATE).
- Creation, interpretation, and capture of electronic systems schematics using Zuken or similar tools.
- Experience with PSpice or other electronic circuit simulation tools.
- Performing electronics analyses such as Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, and Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis (FMECA).
- Adaptable to new situations and able to take initiative when solving complex problems.
- Effective collaborator in diverse team environments.
