In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that promote literacy, math skills, and social-emotional growth. Duties Assist lead teachers in planning and executing lesson plans aligned with Montessori principles, focusing on literacy education, math, and overall curriculum development Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children through daily routines and activities Foster a safe, inclusive environment by working closely with children with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities Engage children in hands-on learning experiences that promote independence, curiosity, and critical thinking Help maintain an organized classroom environment by preparing materials, managing supplies, and ensuring cleanliness Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support each child's individual growth and development Participate in ongoing training related to early childhood education, behavior management, and special education strategies to enhance teaching skills Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or elementary settings is highly preferred Knowledge of Montessori methods and curriculum development is a strong plus Familiarity with childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is advantageous Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math activities, and social-emotional learning Demonstrated commitment to early childhood education and childcare best practices Relevant certifications or coursework in special education or early childhood development are desirable Join us in shaping young minds through energetic engagement and dedicated support!
