Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic role serving students at various educational levels as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract position located near Midland, NC. This opportunity allows you to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the flexibility of a contract schedule in both one-on-one and group settings across elementary, middle, and high school environments.
Desired Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Certification from ASHA (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP) or eligibility Experience working with school-aged children, specifically in elementary, middle, and high school settings Proficiency providing individualized (1:1) therapy as well as group interventions Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals Conduct assessments, interpret results, and collaborate with educational staff and families Provide 1:1 and small group therapy sessions to support students' communication needs Maintain accurate, detailed records of progress and interventions Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the planning of student support Adapt therapeutic approaches to fit the needs of different age groups and learning environments This contract position is ideal for those who value a versatile work environment and wish to contribute to student success in a meaningful way.
