Primary Purpose:

The Elementary Mathematics Coordinator provides instructional leadership to improve mathematics achievement through the development, implementation, and alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessment to state standards. This role supports teachers in delivering rigorous, student-centered math instruction. The Math Coordinator serves as a consultant, coach, and facilitator by guiding targeted instruction and intervention strategies, coaching teachers through lesson and unit planning, and delivering professional development for teachers and administrators. They collaborate with campus leaders to analyze student data, inform instructional decisions, and ensure continuous improvement in mathematics outcomes.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor's degree from accredited university; Valid Texas teaching certificate Master's Degree in Mathematics, preferred Math Academy Certification, preferred Demonstrated competency in mathematics instructional delivery

Required:

Research Based Instructional Strategies Training Special Knowledge/Skills:

Deep knowledge of Mathematics content Knowledge of best practices for coaching adults Strong Technology Skills Proficient in Microsoft Suite Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Experience:
