ELEMENTARY MUSIC TEACHER
Anticipated Placement:
Glenham Elementary
Requirements:
Valid NYS Certification in Elementary General Education 1-6, and K - 12 Music Education, required; Prior teaching experience with elementary age students preferred; Experience in general music and choral classes; Ability to work a flexible schedule with lesson and prep time included in weekly work schedule; Demonstrated knowledge/experience working in diverse school communities utilizing culturally responsive practices, preferred; Demonstrated knowledge/experience in student and family engagement preferred; Must have the knowledge and the ability to use various virtual platforms as needed in relation to the position; Strong skills in collaboration, oral communication, and written communication skills, required.
