The Elementary School Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the academic and social development of children, ensuring they reach their full potential. Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles. Manage classroom behavior effectively, creating a safe and supportive environment for all students. Assess student progress through standardized testing and other evaluation methods, providing feedback to students and parents. Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and educational administration to enhance teaching strategies. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance, classroom activities, and any concerns. Mentor students, providing guidance on academic and personal growth. Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Experience working with children Strong understanding of childhood development principles and effective classroom management techniques. Proficiency in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to elementary education. Teaching core subjects including literacy, math, social studies, and science Implementing a standards-aligned curriculum (Amplify CKLA for literacy, Go Math for math) Familiarity with differentiated assessment strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. A degree in Education or a related field is required; teaching certification is preferred .
