Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies that promote respect, responsibility, and engagement. Assess student progress regularly using standardized testing methods and provide tailored tutoring or intervention to support individual learning needs. Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery and facilitate interactive learning experiences. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, participate in school-wide initiatives, and share best practices in early childhood education and childhood development. Support students with special education needs or those requiring early intervention by adapting lessons and utilizing specialized teaching techniques such as Montessori or working with individuals with autism. Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavioral observations; prepare reports for parents and school administration. Engage in ongoing professional development related to literacy education, classroom management, behavior management, and library services to stay current with educational best practices. Skills Proven classroom experience with a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development stages. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, colleagues, and administrative staff. Strong lesson planning abilities combined with expertise in curriculum development across core subjects including math, literacy, and science. Proficiency in working with learning technology platforms and integrating digital tools into daily instruction. Experience in teaching physical education and promoting healthy lifestyle habits among young learners. Ability to mentor students individually or in small groups to enhance learning outcomes through tutoring or targeted interventions. Knowledge of behavior management techniques to create a respectful classroom climate conducive to learning. Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and assessment strategies for measuring student achievement. Skills in working with children with diverse needs such as those requiring special education services or early intervention programs. Experience in private school settings or Montessori environments is a plus; writing skills are essential for report writing and communication purposes.
