Experience preferred in administrative assistance, data processing, clerical work.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for maintaining current and accurate student information in APSCN and having information readily available to supervisors and district personnel. Monitor student profiles, grades, and other student records. Work with various schools and institutions to secure student information for educational purposes.Position Description:
Enrolling and withdrawing students by entering biographical data into the database. Securing residential information, educational and health data. Compile a file for every new student. All work completed in a timely manner. Securing students educational information from various schools, institutions and shelters. Working with various supervisors and registrars from other institutions to obtain student information. Input of student grades into database. Maintain a student add/drop list on a weekly basis. Run daily, quarterly, and yearly attendance reports as needed. Appropriately greet each person who enters the office and assist them in whatever the need. This usually involves assisting parents, guardians, teachers, and guests. Answer emails, telephone, take messages, give information, or find the appropriate recipient. Generate and disseminate letters and forms for parent/student handout or mail outs. Maintain all attendance to include sign in/ sign out records and all excuse notes. Monitor students who move out of the district, or do not show up 10 days in a row. Run reports as needed. Assist staff, parents, and students with TAC, HAC, eschool. Correct cycle reporting mistakes as they arise. Work with District Personnel to correct cycle reporting. Maintain all permanent record files for students. Generate and send absentee letters to parents, Prosecuting Attorney, and Department of Finance. Update master schedule for teachers/courses and schedule students. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Working Environment Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 60% sitting, 40% walking/standing.
