Hourly Non-Exempt Reports to: Location SuperintendentJOB SUMMARY
The Grain Elevator Worker is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with all operational activities at the facility. This position will assist with the grain elevator operations and ensuring all trucks/trains are properly loaded and unloaded.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Load/unload trucks or railcars Operate a grain dryer Grain handling Operate wheel loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and similar equipment Utilize computerized system to process data General housekeeping duties (i.e. - clean equipment and/or buildings) Assist operations personnel and supervisors as needed Facility maintenance as needed Travel to neighboring facilities to assist on occasion as needed Commitment to PGP's goal of achieving a zero-injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures Adhere to all Prairie Grain Partners' safety policies and procedures in compliance with Company and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, DNT, DOT, ect.) Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES
High school education or equivalent is preferred Must be 18 years of age Must be able to legally work in the United States English proficiency Approved pre-employment drug screen Exhibit regular and prompt attendance Demonstrate initiative to work independently while being flexible enough to work in team setting when needed Exhibit a professional image; maintain a positive and respectful attitude Computer proficiency Basic mechanical knowledge Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as neededCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
