Summary:
The Emergency Department Technician
II - LH PBH WH
role assists the healthcare team in organizing and implementing basic department activities such as stocking, results retrieval and patient tracking. Under the guidance of the physician/advanced practice practitioner, this role will perform patient care such as vital signs, pulse oximetry, EKG, phlebotomy and other simple procedures. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
EMT or CNA training required.
License/Certifications:
Current EMT - Basic license or CNA Certification required. Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
Experience:
One year of experience in an acute care experience preferred. Demonstrates competency in all essential functions of Emergency Department Technician role.
