This community hospital serves as a vital healthcare resource for the coastal region, providing essential emergency medical services to both residents and visitors. The facility maintains a Level 4 trauma designation and offers 24-hour support services including anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, and radiology services.

Emergency Medicine Job Details:
Provide emergency medicine coverage for medical leaves from July through December 2026 Handle approximately 15 patient encounters per shift in a general emergency department setting Work 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) with majority of coverage needed for night shifts Must be willing to work night shifts with some day coverage as well Required to perform intubations on patients Minimum 7-8 shifts required per month with flexible scheduling Small patient volume with providers typically leaving on time without overtime Must maintain active Oregon medical license only Board certified or board eligible within 3 years of residency (ABEM highly preferred, FM or IM with extensive EM experience considered) Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and NRP highly preferred DEA registration required Clean credentialing files preferred for earlier start dates Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days Interview process conducted via phone call with
Medical Director Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
