Qualifications:

Current and active RN license in good standing Minimum of one year experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations and effectively prioritize care Knowledge of current ER protocols, equipment, and documentation standards Experience working collaboratively with physicians, techs, and ancillary staff

Responsibilities:

Triage and assess patients presenting to the Emergency Department Administer medications, initiate IVs, and provide urgent interventions per provider order and established protocols Monitor and document patients' vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments Communicate changes in condition and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies and safety guidelines Maintain clear, detailed documentation within electronic health records This opportunity allows you to demonstrate your ER nursing skills while adapting to a range of clinical scenarios.
