About the
Role:
The Emergency Room Manager at Wagoner Community Hospital will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the emergency department, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care. This position involves managing staff, coordinating patient flow, and implementing protocols to enhance the quality of care provided. The manager will also be responsible for budget management, resource allocation, and compliance with healthcare regulations. By fostering a collaborative environment, the Emergency Room Manager will lead initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications:
Associates degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent healthcare certification. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in emergency medicine or trauma care. Certification in Emergency Nursing (CEN) or similar credentials.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage the emergency department staff, including nurses, physicians, and support personnel. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Monitor patient flow and coordinate with other departments to optimize resource utilization. Analyze departmental performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
