Key Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certificate preferred Proficient in patient assessment, triage, and stabilization techniques Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to function effectively under pressure while prioritizing patient care

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to patients experiencing acute medical emergencies Perform initial patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications or treatments as ordered Collaborate with ER physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate and deliver care Accurately document patient status, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions and initiate appropriate emergency interventions Educate patients and families on treatment plans, follow-up care, and discharge instructions Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
