DEA License Medical License Endocrinology Full Job Description Endocrinologist:
Saint Joseph's Medical Center is actively seeking a full-time Endocrinologist to join our team throughout our facilities in Westchester, NY. The position is within a hospital based medical practice with 11 locations throughout Westchester. The physician will see patients in an office setting, clinical setting, and consult within the hospital. The ideal candidate is a NYS licensed, board-certified Endocrinologist who is comfortable treating a range of endocrine disorders, hormonal imbalances, and thyroid conditions including comprehensive care for diabetes. You must be motivated, able to work collaboratively with other members of the team, and offer strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing, examining, and investigating patients and their medical histories for sign and symptoms of hormonal imbalances. Advising, ordering, performing tests, and interpreting their results. Discussing diagnosis with patients, explaining treatment options and giving advice on medications, lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventative measures. Supporting patients with serious or complex endocrine conditions. Participate in the education of medical students and residents.
Requirements:
MD or DO Completion of Endocrinology fellowship training Board Certified in Endocrinology New York State medical license Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
