What This Role Is The Energy Pricing & Procurement Analyst supports daily pricing and procurement operations for retail electricity and natural gas products. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with foundational retail energy exposure who are eager to develop strong analytical, Excel, and market-facing skills in a fast-paced team environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and continuous learning while supporting live pricing events and internal market analysis. What You'll Do Support day-to-day electricity and natural gas procurement activities across all active retail and wholesale markets Assist in gathering, validating, and analyzing customer energy usage and pricing data to support procurement events Maintain Excel-based pricing models and data trackers Support competitive procurement events using the company's proprietary platform Maintain accurate pricing, contract, and supplier data with a high level of attention to detail in proprietary database & CRM Assist senior analysts and managers with market analysis and pricing requests Distribute internal pricing updates and market insights as needed Process post-execution contract data with a high level of accuracy Continuously improve data quality, workflows, and internal processes Learn and apply evolving market fundamentals, regulatory changes, and procurement best practices What You Bring 0-2 years of retail energy experience (electricity and natural gas exposure preferred) Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, pricing models, formulas); Power BI a plus Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment Strong organizational and time-management skills Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data integrity Willingness and ability to learn retail energy markets and pricing fundamentals Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, analytics, or a related field preferred Who You Are Early career professional with interest in energy pricing and procurement Process-driven and comfortable working with numbers and data Team-oriented, adaptable, and eager to grow Motivated by accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement wSgKRSITI9
