Engineer (Battery Production Implementation)
Location:
Liberty, NC (On-site) |

12 Months (Extension Possible)
Travel:
10-15% |
Overtime:
25% (Including weekends/shutdowns)
Role Overview:
Support the production preparation and launch of EV battery manufacturing equipment. You will work within the Implementation Group to transition the facility from construction to high-volume mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
Launch & Commissioning:
Lead equipment procurement, installation planning, FAT/SAT, and pre-production trials.
Site Coordination:
Collaborate with General Contractors and Vendors to manage punchlists and meet project milestones.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and manage countermeasures.
Operations Support:
Maintain detailed project schedules, manage budgets (>$5M), and oversee mass-production handover.
Clean Room:
Adhere to advanced cleanliness protocols required for battery manufacturing environments.
Must-Haves:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Experience:
3-10 years in capital project execution (strategy through mass production).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and reading building/process drawings.
Project Management:
Experience managing large-scale capital investments and detailed installation schedules.
