Engineer I - Drainage

RK&K is currently hiring a Drainage Engineer for our team in Tampa, FL. As a Drainage Engineer with RK&K, your responsibilities will include design and analysis of drainage facilities. Projects will include, but not be limited to new roadways, widenings, resurfacings, and multimodal improvements. Essential Functions Basin delineations and runoff calculations H&H modeling support, GIS analysis Prepare drainage maps, storm drain layouts, cross sections, and detail sheets Calculate quantities and prepare construction cost estimates Support preparation of design documentation Support preparation of spread calculations, ditch calculations, storm tabulations, etc. H&H modeling support, GIS analysis Work with other disciplines on creative solutions to design challenges Required Skills & Experience Zero (0) to Two (2) years of experience in drainage design Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field Engineering Intern (E.I.) license in FL or ability to obtain within six (6) months Preferred Skills & Experience Open Roads Designer ArcPro Other Duties This job description indicates the general nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under ADA).
