Job Description

Your Job Georgia-Pacific is now hiring a detail oriented, resourceful, critical thinker for an Engineering Administrative Assistant role supporting our Containerboard paper mill operations in Toledo, OR! Our Team Georgia-Pacific Toledo is a producer of brown paper used to make cardboard and is a leader in recycling in the Northwest. The Toledo Mill is located within a 10-minute drive to the Pacific Ocean. Many outdoor activities are available near the mill including fishing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and boating. What You Will Do Performing administrative duties for the Engineering department (filing, distributing mail, ordering supplies, organization, etc.) Maintain accurate data entry, specific to manufacturing parts lists and inputting them into the relevant software for accurate record keeping Assist with project management documentation, to include input and updates of project information to ensure accuracy and appropriate progress through the system Create and upkeep a schedule relaying all contractor activity including project scope, days on site, teams of collaboration, etc. Build relationships and collaborate with departments across the mill as well as with key contractors and vendors to keep information up-to-date Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Experience in an administrative or clerical position Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word (creating documents), Excel (creating spreadsheets and utilizing formulas) and Outlook (scheduling meetings and creating, sending, responding to email)) Willing and able to work in manufacturing, adhering to safety standards and wearing required personal protective clothing. What Will Put You Ahead Experience in a manufacturing, design engineering and/or construction environments Experience with CMMS systems, project portfolio management software or construction management software The ability to manage detailed administrative work with a high level of accuracy while effectively communicating across multiple teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and timely execution At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
