Lockheed Martin Space is looking for a Engineering Aide in Sunnyvale, CA.

In this role you will:

Provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Assist engineers in collaboration with subsystem, survivability, environmental, and other specialty engineers to develop unique cables for various space products. Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. Perform software engineering to include design, development, and software/hardware integration.

Basic Qualifications:

Associates degree in a STEM related discipline or equivalent experience/combined education, and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks. Completed coursework towards a related degree may be considered. Military experience and/or greater than 5 years Electrical Technician experience will also be considered. Eligibility and willingness to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance - US Citizenship required

Desired Skills:

Collate with subsystems, survivability, environmental, and other specialty engineers to develop unique cables for various space products. Understanding of electronic circuit design principles, including analog and digital circuits. Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision Desire to learn Zuken E3 (schematic drafting) and/or Creo (3D modeling) for cable/harness design

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $61,200 - $107,985. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Pay Rate:
