Job Description:
Addison Group is working with a manufacturing company in search for an engineering coordinator to join their team. This is a fulltime 40 hours a week opportunity, and 5 days onsite in Irwin PA - Please apply to be considered. Engineering Coordinator provides administrative and technical support to the engineering department to ensure smooth execution of projects, documentation control and cross-functional coordination between engineering, Project Management, Sourcing, Assembly, Contract Shop, Applications and Service. This role ensures that engineering data, drawings, bill of materials and change orders are accurate, up to date, and communicated effectively across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineering tasks coordination: Assist engineers in planning, scheduling and tracking progress of engineering projects.
  • Monitor timeliness and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
  • Documentation and Data management: Maintain and update engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications and technical files.
  • Manage engineering change requests and change orders through established workflows.
  • Ensure document control compliance with ISO procedures.
  • Cross-Functional communication: Tracking all the requests coming to engineering for technical support from Assembly, Sourcing, Service, Applications, Contract Shop and Proposal Engineering.
Administration and System Support:
Update drawings with redlines
  • Generate part numbers and revisions
  • Support generating Engineering KPI's
  • Take meeting minutes and track actions
  • Prepare Status reports and progress update for management
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related technical discipline
Experience:
  • 1-3 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing or technical support role
  • Experience with CAD systems (SolidWorks)
Competencies:
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to track and manage multiple project related tasks and activities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
