ENGINEERING INVENTORY ORGANIZER
(TEMPORARY) Dialight is the world leader in LED industrial lighting technology with millions of LED fixtures installed worldwide. We enable industrial customers operating in demanding environments to reduce their energy costs, maintenance costs, and carbon footprint while maximizing the safety and productivity of their facilities.
Job Type:
Temporary / Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Duration:
1-2 months (project-based, depending on completion)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Inventory Organizer on a temporary basis to assist with organizing and optimizing an engineering storage room for an LED manufacturing operation. This project-focused role involves sorting, categorizing, labeling, and arranging a large inventory of screws, fasteners, and various hardware components to improve accessibility and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Sort and categorize a high volume of screws, fasteners, and hardware by type, size, and specification Label bins, drawers, and storage areas clearly and consistently Organize storage systems for easy identification and retrieval of parts Consolidate duplicate or excess inventory where appropriate Maintain a clean and orderly workspace throughout the project Collaborate with engineering staff to ensure logical organization and proper classification Track progress and flag any discrepancies or unidentified components
Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy Basic understanding of hardware (screws, bolts, fasteners) preferred but not required Comfortable working on your feet and lifting small to moderate items Reliable and able to work a full-time schedule for the duration of the project Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or engineering environments Familiarity with labeling systems or inventory organization
