Play a key role in supporting new medical molding program launches, mold validations, and ongoing production success. Collaborate closely with Process Engineers, Quality Engineers, Tooling Engineers, Automation Engineers, and production teams to improve manufacturing performance. Gain hands-on experience troubleshooting molding processes, automation systems, and tooling challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, improving efficiency, and enhancing process consistency. Make a direct impact on the production of life-saving medical devices through technical problem-solving and operational support. What key responsibilities would you assume in this role? Support new product launches by executing mold trials, process validations, and trial documentation activities. Assist with mold setups, automation setups, tooling preparation, and production changeovers to support manufacturing operations. Troubleshoot molding processes, robots, hot runner controls, molds, and auxiliary equipment to reduce downtime and improve production efficiency. Monitor product quality during trials and production runs, communicating concerns to engineering and quality teams. Package and submit trial samples for laboratory assessment and validation review. Adjust molding processes within approved limits to maintain product specifications and reduce scrap. Collaborate with Automation Engineers to support troubleshooting and implementation of automation systems. Submit work orders for preventive maintenance, tooling repairs, and equipment servicing to support operational uptime. Participate in continuous improvement and 5S initiatives to maintain safe, clean, and efficient production environments. Provide feedback to engineering teams regarding tooling performance, manufacturability, automation functionality, and process improvements. Assist with the review and development of standard operating procedures related to tooling, automation, and launch activities. Communicate production status updates, startup readiness, and operational concerns with Shift Leads and production teams. Who will you work side by side to achieve extraordinary results?
