Job Description

Position:
Engineering Technician IV Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to: Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, installation, calibration, repair, and modification of equipment and systems. Solve technical problems in accordance with prescribed specifications. Conduct laboratory and shipboard work in multiple US Navy homeports. Conduct submarine ship checks to determine the necessary efforts to seamlessly install systems onboard a platform. Draft Memorandums of Agreement, Work Authorization Forms, System Tagouts and Controlled work packages. Provide technical input and review for developing new Temporary Alterations (TempAlts), Operational Alterations (OpAlts) and Ship Alterations (ShipAlts). Author detailed reports.Requirements:
Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance (active Secret clearance preferred, U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance) High School Diploma Minimum 6+ years of experience working with SONAR systems as a submarine SONAR Technician in the US Navy Ability to travel Valid US passport holderExperience:
