Job Description

SIA Engineering Company, (USA) is a leading provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services and a party of the SIA Engineering Company Line Maintenance International Network with a client base of more than 85 international carriers and aerospace equipment manufacturers. Job Summary EASA rated • B777, B787, A350, and/or A330 experience• One of the leading line maintenance service providers in the United States of America is currently looking for appropriate licensed aircraft maintenance certifiers (B1) to join our team as part of our expansion. Successful candidates will be required to relocate to SFO or anywhere within USA as required.
Function:
Under limited direction, maintains and repairs aircraft to ensure airworthiness and safe flight operation. Replaces and rebuilds aircraft structures using functional components and tools while documenting and certifying services provided to customers. Responsibilities and Duties Perform line maintenance duties, 'A' checks and interior cabin maintenance for B777, B787, A350, and/or A330 aircraft types. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair aircraft and/or engines and all associated systems. Reading and interpreting manufacturers' and airlines' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Maintains a comprehensive record system of all maintenance work performed on each aircraft to comply with the component mandates of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Perform duty travel to other line station locations primarily within USA Possess valid
EASA/CAAC/CAAS/CASA
(B1) license. FAA A&P license would be an additional advantage Aircraft Type-rating preferred:
B777/B787/A350
Company may sponsor additional training/certifications, as needed Minimum of 3 years experience as a certifying licensed aircraft engineer Possess Class 3 driving license

Education/Experience:
Three years of general maintenance and repair experience on aircrafts; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved in the aircraft maintenance industry as an A & P Mechanic. Job Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of the trades involved in the servicing and maintenance of aircraft and engines including electrical work, and installation. Knowledge of the operation of flight instruments. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with personnel. Work effectively with other staff members and management staff.
