With an $11M capital investment and a move into a 55,000 sq ft facility, we're scaling our capabilities and capacity to meet rising demand.
Picture your day:
you're on the floor before the first part hits inspection, confirming that the process plan, control plan, and work instructions are locked to AS9100 expectations. Before lunch you're leading an 8D on a yield issue, dissecting 5 Whys with programmers and machinists. In the afternoon, you're packaging a PPAP submission, aligning process capability data with customer qualification requirements, then walking a visiting auditor through our QMS with confidence. The Role This hands-on Quality / Process Engineer role is the connective tissue between engineering, production, and our aerospace customers. You'll own compliance to AS9100, strengthen customer trust, and continuously improve how we manufacture tight-tolerance parts. What You'll Do Own and elevate compliance to AS9100 quality management systems. Lead and support PPAP submissions and customer qualification activities. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions (8D, 5 Why) and ensure systemic closure. Partner with CNC machining, programming, and production to optimize manufacturing processes. Analyze capability, variation, and yield; implement data-driven improvements. Support internal and external audits (customer, regulatory, certification). Develop and maintain process documentation, control plans, and work instructions. Collaborate on NPI and manufacturability reviews to launch right-first-time. Champion continuous improvement (lean, scrap reduction, cycle time reduction). What You Bring 4+ years in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing. Strong working knowledge of AS9100 standards. Hands-on experience with PPAP and customer quality requirements. Deep understanding of CNC machining (milling, turning, tight tolerances). Track record with corrective action systems and root cause analysis. Comfort working cross-functionally from the shop floor to leadership reviews. Familiarity with GD&T, inspection methods, and metrology. Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred. Who Thrives Here A builder who improves systems—not just maintains them. A connector who links process, quality, and business results. A pro who earns credibility with machinists and aerospace customers alike. A scale-minded leader aiming for best-in-class performance.
